Akha Silver Engraved Dragon Pattern Torc

This is a rare piece in excellent condition. The engraved image is of two dragons, a typical motif from Yunan in Southern China. The form and design is typical of the Akha tribal people.

Many ethnic groups still live in the Golden Triangle, reports Lerquin.  Their torques are similar in shape to those of the animist minority groups in China & Vietnam.

Dimensions:  the maximum inner diameter is 12 cm and there is some flex in the torc allowing you to put the torc on.  

Age: Early 1900s.
