Untracht identifies this torc as a silver vadla worn by the Rabari tribal women. The Rabari are a nomadic tribal community in Gujarat who traditionally herded camels and reared cattle. The torc comprises of a tapered tube wrapped in plain wire. The hook opening is worn at the front and has a dotted, circular fastening.
